Zone Training Centres

Zone Training Centres

We are seeking sponsorship from any corporations or private donors to adopt our zone training centres.
The zone training centres provide proper training by professional coaches and are open to all Singaporean children from 5 – 11 years old. And the participants at any of our zone training centres enjoy a subsidised training fee.

The current zone training centres will act as a structured system to nurture young talents to provide as feeders squad to the youth development team and ultimately the National Team.  Through the zone training centre programme, we hope to identify and nurture more world-class players.

Our zone training centres have over the years, groomed many players for our Youth Development Squad and National Youth Team. Isabelle Li and Pang Xue Jie, both national paddlers are graduates of the zone training centre programme. And they acknowledged that the structured and intensive training at the zone training centres had the biggest impact on their game and helped them get to the next level. Isabelle Li is a SEA Games silver medallist and the youngest Singaporean at 17-years-old to compete in the SEA Games 2011 women’s singles final, she had won another silver medal in the SEA Games 2013 women's singles event. Pang Xuejie also won his first major game title in the men’s doubles event with Ma Liang at the SEA Games 2011.
