ABOUT
The STTA zone training centres are instrumental in strengthening the process of discovering and nurturing young and potential players in a more structured and sustainable manner.
OBJECTIVES
- To offer training in table tennis for the young (5 to 11 years old) with potential
- To broaden the base of competitive players
- To carry out a ‘feeder scheme’ for outstanding members to be infused into the Junior Development Squad
ELIGIBILTIY
- Singapore Citizens aged 5-11, possess basics in table tennis.
- Willing to commit to 3 training sessions per week (2 hours per session)
FEES
- Monthly Fees:
- $300 + prevailing GST (except for Kallang Zone Training Centre)
- $350 + prevailing GST (for Kallang Zone Training Centre, wef 1 January 2024)
- E-payment for first 2 months training fees, registration fees, annual group personal accident insurance fees and refundable deposits (please refer to registration form for more details)
- Subsequent month training fees shall be via e-payment (PayNow or Bank transfer) till GIRO deduction has been approved
REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:
- Approach the coaches at the respective training centres during training hours for an assessment.
- Upon endorsement by the coaches, a registration form will be given for completion.
- Training time slots to be agreed with the coaches.
- Coaches reserve the final rights to accept or reject any trainee.
COURSE WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURES
Each child is deemed to be in the training program and the parent/guardian must continue to pay all fees until formal written withdrawal is submitted to STTA ZTC coach with at least one month notice and that the last day of lesson must be on the last day of the following month.
