What is the Singapore Table Tennis Association Membership system?
This is a new membership portal that has been launched for individuals, coaches and technical officials to register themselves with the Singapore Table Tennis Association.
Why do I need to become a member?
Being a member will allow you to
Be eligible to join STTA/co-organised tournaments subject to entry requirements specified per the respective tournament (Athlete)
Be eligible to join the STTA athlete pathway programme – Zone Training Centre, Junior Development Squad, Youth Training Squad, Intermediate Squad and National Team. For Junior Development Squad and above, entry is subject to meeting the selection criteria imposed by STTA (Athlete)
Enjoy subsidised rates for STTA organised Umpire/Technical Official Courses (Technical Official)
Be eligible to represent Singapore as a technical delegate/official at international events/tournaments/courses approved by STTA (Technical Official)
Be eligible to provide coaching at STTA organised/co-organised tournaments/events (Coaches)
How do I become a member?

How long is the membership period?
The period of membership is for one year, from 1st January to 31st December each year, and the membership fee is renewable and payable annually.
If I sign up for the membership, withdraw or terminate from the membership after 1st January of the year, will my membership fee be pro-rated?
No, the membership fee will not be pro-rated
Are there any entry requirements?
Individual membership is open to all individuals aged 5 and above who are residing in Singapore and willing to observe the rules and regulations of STTA as the governing body for the sport of table tennis in Singapore. Applicants who are below eighteen (18) years of age must have the written consent of their parent or guardian.
Can I play in competitions without a membership?
If you try to compete without a membership, tournament organisers and league managers shall refuse entry into STTA organised and co-organised tournaments
What are the modes of payment for the membership registration?
Participants can pay via PayNow, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX through the redirect online payment portal (HitPay) after completing their registration.
What is your refund policy?
We regret that membership fee paid is not refundable.
How will I know my registration is successful?
Successful registrants will receive log in details and a payment confirmation slip via email(s) upon successful registration
I have not received my confirmation email, what should I do?
If you did not receive the confirmation email within 24 hours after successful registration, please check your email folders – Inbox, Junk, Spam

Who can access members’ information?
Only authorised STTA personnel can access member information. All information will be kept confidential according to our privacy policies, available here.
Will my information be secure?
Yes, the STTA membership system servers are encrypted and monitored using a number of professional software security tools. The information in the platform is protected using HTTPS encryption.
Do you save my credit card details?
No. We use HitPay to process your online payment, whether this is by card of Direct Debit. We do not store or even hold your card details on our servers, even temporarily. However, as per any online payment service, users should also take precautions to safeguard their own devices, networks and passwords from scams or impersonators.
