The STTA aims to set up a network of educational partners to provide educational opportunities to our outstanding Singapore National Team paddlers.
Partnership with Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
On 10 June 2010, the STTA signed a MOU with NTU. This MOU is the first for both NTU and STTA and it will help create great opportunities for our national paddlers.
This MOU aims to provide pathways for talented athletes to pursue a university degree in Singapore and have a peace of mind while competing internationally.

Partnership with Singapore University of Social Sciences (formerly known as the SIM University (UniSIM)
The MOU was signed on 24 September 2013. The MOU aims to provide high potential athletes with higher educational opportunities at the university. This will see the university providing two sponsorships for any of its undergraduate programme per year for the next five years to outstanding Singapore paddlers.
About SUSS (formerly known as the SIM University (UniSIM)
SUSS is the sixth autonomous university in Singapore. It is under the ambit of the Ministry of Education (Singapore). SUSS champions lifelong learning, offers degrees primarily in the domain of social sciences and applied learning.
Meinhardt-STTA Scholarship
The Meinhardt-STTA Scholarship, a $100,000 scholarship sponsored by Meinhardt Singapore will enable STTA players to further their studies in any country where Meinhardt operates after their playing career.
STTA-Dr Tahir & Associates Future Ready Trust Fund
The million-dollar STTA-Dr Tahir & Associates Future Ready Trust Fund is to finance our Singapore born national paddlers to a University education (local/foreign) or further learning opportunities after their stint with STTA so long as they have represented Singapore at the Olympics 2016 and/or beyond.
