Ser Lin Qian came back with a win after losing to teammate Zhou Jingyi the day before. The in-form 16 year-old, Ser found her rhythm and dominated the finals match and defeated Zhou 3-0 (18-16, 13-11, 11-7).

The victory in Vila Real adds to Ser’s collection of gold medals in 2022, having just taken two titles last month at the WTT Youth Contender Metz.
