The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has officially informed Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA) and Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) that Singapore paddlers – Yu Mengyu and Gao Ning have qualified for the Rio Olympics through their world rankings. Yu and Gao will join their team mates – Feng Tianwei and Chen Feng to compete in the singles event at the Rio Olympics.
