Following the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF)’s announcement and the SportSG stricter safe management measures advisory, the STTA is taking measures from 8 May to 30 May 2021 to comply with the updated guidelines to protect the health and well-being of our athletes.

1. Reduction in Group Sizes From 8 May 2021, our training group sizes will be reduced from eight to five athletes per bubble. The maximum number of athletes per training session will be adjusted to comply with the MOH and SportSG guidelines.

2. Mandatory TraceTogether-Only SafeEntry by 17 May 2021 The implementation of TraceTogether-only SafeEntry has been brought forward and will take effect from 17 May 2021. Other modes of SafeEntry check-in, including the scanning of student card/NRIC barcodes and scanning of QR codes with a mobile phone camera or the Singpass app, will be discontinued.

From 17 May 2021, athletes will only be admitted into the training venues after checking in through the following methods:

• Using one’s TraceTogether (TT) App to scan the venue’s QR code;

• Displaying one’s TT Token so that a venue staff can scan the TraceTogether Token’s QR code. As we continue with our existing safe management measures, we are required to comply with updated safe management guidelines and participate in the TraceTogether programme.
