Our youth paddlers participated in the 2019 ITTF Junior Circuit, Swedish Junior & Cadet Open and 47th Safir International Tournament, Örebro, Sweden during their outing at Sweden.

The youths finished with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze at the 2019 ITTF Junior Circuit, Swedish Junior & Cadet Open, 20 – 24 February 2019. 

The gold came from Koen Pang/ Beh Kun Ting after securing a win in the Junior Boys’ Doubles event.  Izaac Quek and Josh Chua/Gerald Yu clinched the 2 silver medals in the Mini-Cadet Boys’ Singles event and Junior Boys’ Doubles event respectively.  The bronze medal went to the Junior Girls’ Doubles pair- Wong Xin Ru & Goi Ruixuan.

Team Singapore paddlers also participated in the 47th Safir International Tournament  Örebro, Sweden, February 22nd –24th 2019. The Safir  International  Tournament  2019  is  linked  with  the ITTF Swedish  Junior  &  Cadet Open  2019.   The Republic finished with a 1 gold and 2 bronzes at the tournament.  The gold was won by Zhou Jingyi in the Under 14- Safir International  event.  The 2 bronzes were secured by Izaac Quek in the Under 14 Boys-Safir- International event and Koen Pang in the Under 21 Boys-Safir- International event.
