Singapore Table Tennis Player: Nicholas Tan (陈尼克), 12 years old won the Hopes Singles title at the Regional Hopes Week (South East Asia), which concluded today. The tournament was conducted in a round robin challenge and Nicholas Tan won 9 matches out of the total number of 10 matches he played (please refer to the attachment for the detailed results).
His teammates: Ng Hong Siu Aron (吴泓劭) & Lee Eng Kee Eudora (李英祈) finished 4th in the Hopes Boys’ & Hope Girls’ singles event respectively. Ng Kai Ting Aldina (黄塏婷) finished in 6th position in the Hopes Girls’ singles event.
Nicholas Tan will qualify for the Asia Hopes Follow Up Camp and Challenge, Bangkok Thailand, which will be held in May 2019.
