Up and coming table tennis star, Zane Ong, 12, continued his fantastic run of form in Europe when he clinched a third successive joint-third finish at the WTT Youth Contender Havirov 2025.
The Singapore Sports School student found his Romanian opponent, Alexandru Pop, hard to crack in the semi final of the Boys U13 Singles, eventually succumbing to a 3-1 (6-11, 7-11, 11-8, 2-11) defeat.
Despite the defeat, the Singaporean added another trophy to his haul, after Wladyslowowo and Berlin.
Zane’s consistent performances and podium finishes are testament to the hard work of both player and coaches, with anticipation of even more successes to come in the future.
